photos for magazine (Organisation and Planning)

I took this photo of my sister who is playing the 'possessed' girl in my trailer. As well as being a dress rehearsal for the real trailer, I took lots of photos and edited them for the magazine and film poster I have to produce. I think the use of white although is usually associated with purity and angelic qualities portrays an almost innocence and the wedding dress amplifies this idea. However I do think the white also reflects a sense of horror and instead of using generic black or red I think the use of white cold perhaps suggest insanity and is often a colour of mental hospitals, doctors etc.

Editing Photos (Drafting and Planning)

Using an App on my phone call 'Whiteagram' I could edit the whole photo without cropping any bits out, the width is slimmer but it enables me to edit the whole photo on Instagram which is what I did next...

Here I can choose from a wide range of effects to either brighten or darken the photo etc. I could of used a photo editor on my laptop and brightened the photo and used contrast but I felt by using the Instagram effect it looks more professional and does the contrast and brightening for you. I also though the effect I used below looks very scary.

Here is the effect I choose. As you can see the dress is brighter and whiter and the whiteness of the photo is emphasized and it very effective as it is complete contrast to a pure innocent angelic girl, although some of these qualities she could arguably possess.
